ifilm to air finale for ‘Stairway to Heaven’

ifilm English channel has set to air final episode for the historical series ‘Stairway to Heaven’ on Saturday night at 19 GMT.

Finale for the series, produced by Mohsen Ali-Akbari and directed by Mohammad-Hossein Latifi, will be aired on October 19, 2019.

The series tells the story of Jamshid Kashani, one of the most brilliant minds in the history of sciences.

The renowned 15th century Iranian astronomer managed to make incredible scientific breakthroughs as he lived during the tumultuous times of Timur Mongol's invasion.

Notable among the cast are Vahid Jalilvand, Jamshid Jahanzadeh, Vishka Asayesh, Mehdi Faqih, Borzou Arjmand, Sara Khoueeniha, Hassan Pourshirazi, Farhad Qaemian, Shabnam Qolikhani, Rahim Norouzi, and Mahchehreh Khalili.

‘Stairway to Heaven’, produced in 2009, will be replaced by ‘Jaber ibn Hayyan’ made by Javad Afshar.
